This letter and enclosed material is an invitation to the Omaha Baseball and Softball Show. The Omaha Baseball and Softball Show takes place at the Qwest Center Omaha during the College World Series. The state of the art Qwest Center is right down 10th Street from the College World Series. During the College World Series, Omaha is home to the largest gathering of baseball and softball people anywhere in the World.

There are over 290,000 individuals who attend the College World Series, with 135,000 of the attendees from out of state. Omaha is also home to at least 30 youth and high school baseball and softball tournaments which attract teams, players, coaches and parents from all 50 states. These tournaments bring in an additional 25,000 baseball and softball people to Omaha.

If you only exhibit at one show this year this is positively the one to be at. You will be in front of big time college coaches and players, youth level players and parents, and everyone in between. The Omaha Baseball and Softball Show has hired national marketing firm Bozell & Jacobs to insure that this show is by far the largest attendance of any baseball or softball show in the World. (Forms of marketing include: 60 & 30 second radio spots which run through the event starting two weeks prior to show dates, live radio remotes with 2 radio stations, Billboards across the city, direct mailing across the country, print ads in national and local newspaper and magazine publications, fliers and soft mini baseballs distributed at the College World Series, driving baseball and softball people to the show.)

In another effort to drive the baseball and softball people to the show we have found a sponsor to pick up the price of admission for the public. Yes, the show is free for the public to attend, another reason this year will be the largest baseball and softball show ever attended!

If there is a drawback to the show it is the limited number of booths, and the limited number of hotel rooms because of the College World Series and all of the youth and high school tournaments in the city. We have provided a list of hotels, but you need to make those arrangements very soon. Call or fax in your RSVP to the Omaha Baseball Softball Show, and make your hotel arrangements ASAP.

Come a few days early, or stay a couple of days after the show to catch a few College World Series games.
